Popular Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo is reported to have died in the early hours of Friday, November 25, 2022.
According to reports making round, the singer and father slumped and died at his home on Friday morning.
He passed on at age 51.
Recall that Sammie Okposo trended on social media early this year when he made headlines following a cheating scandal with a lady based in the US.
He gave in to the scandal when he took to his verified Instagram page to apologise to his wife, Ozioma accepting that he cheated on her with another woman in the United States in an incident he said happened in 2021.
As the aftermath of the scandal, the gospel singer made the decision to take time off from ministerial work in order to retrace his step with God before returning back to ministry after a few months.
