The Ogun State Police Command has banned the Yoruba Nation rally set to take place in Abeokuta, the state capital on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
This was made known to Newsmen in a statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
As such he advised parents and guardians to keep their children away from any gatherings that could turn violent and could expose them to danger.
“As a result, the rally scheduled for Abeokuta on May 1st, 2021, is viewed by the Command as one too many in the state, and thus not approved.”
