Award winning Nigerian singer and DMW manager, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has disclosed that he voluntarily performed at Abia state Governor, Alex Otti’s inauguration reception dinner for free.
Davido revealed this via his verified Twitter handle, where he replied to curious fans on Monday night.
The micro blogging platform was overwhelmed with excitement after one user expressed that Davido is Dr. Alex Otti’s godson and was given chance for a full performance at the reception after-party in Umuahia.
Puzzled by the prospect, another Tweep questioned if Davido had performed for free.
Davido, in response, wrote: “Not a dime. I’ve known Excellency all my life… and I’m sure he will do well for the people of Abia state”.
