Popular Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji has disagreed with a report placing American artiste, Drake as the second greatest musician in the history of entertainment.
A media report had mentioned the American born singer as the 2nd greatest in the industry following late Michael Jackson.
“After Michael Jackson, Drake is the greatest musician to ever grace the mic,” the site wrote.
Refuting it, Blogger Linda Ikeji stated that Drake isn’t among top 10 in her own ratings, as she crowned Beyonce as the second G.O.A.T. in music.
Linda further listed her top 10 singers, among them were: Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Usher, R Kelly and Rihanna.
She indicated that her above mentioned artists are better than Drake.
“I don’t agree! Beyonce next. Then R Kelly. Then Whitney Houston. The. Lionel Richie. Then Usher. Drake is not even in my top 10. Rihanna is even a greater artist,” she wrote.
Recall, that Linda Ikeji also slammed American actor, Will Smith, who made headlines after he slapped Chris Rock in the Oscars award night.
Reacting, Linda Ikeji alongside many other celebrities shaded Will Smith’s action stating that it was uncalled for and beneath him.
She said: “I personally think Will Smith should not have slapped Chris Rock. Will carries himself with grace so this was beneath him. It also wasn’t the time or place. After nearly four decades in entertainment, this was his big night, now completely overshadowed by his behavior….which should never be tolerated (I hope the Oscars do something about it)”.
“All of this will impact on all his achievements and accomplishments. This is what people will remember more than anything else. I love Will but this behaviour isn’t okay. And like he rightfully said, it’s at your highest points that the devil will try it. Don’t let the devil win. I hope God heals everyone involved”.
