Ramon Olorunwa Abbas who is popularly known as Hushpuppi is said to have stolen the sum of $400,000 US dollars while in the US prison facility.
This was disclosed in a report signed by Andrew John Innocent a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to him, Hushpuppi was allowed the privilege of accessing the internet like every other inmate not knowing he was carrying out more crimes on the internet.
On noticing Hushpuppi’s frequent use of the internet between 28th January 2022 and 4th March 2022 obtained a federal search warrant to monitor his frequent internet usage.

While monitoring his internet usage it was discovered that Hushpuppi uses an underground criminal marketplace called stimulus card to steal the money kept for the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES), created to reduce the financial burden on the US citizen.
