Popular gospel singer, Sonnie Badu has opened up on Sammie Okposo’s death; as he revealed what the late singer told him concerning his wife before he passed away.
Sonnie praised Ozzy Okposo, widow of the late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo for always supporting and standing by him while he was alive.
He shared what he heard about the late singer on his official Instagram page, while posting a memorial of the late gospel singer, followed with a photo of the late Sammie Okposo and his wife.
He said: “I just want to say thank you to Okposo. You are a good woman. You stood behind your husband until the end. He said so many good things about you in his challenging moments.”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for covering him when he needed it .. Rest well #LandLord. Rip Sammie Okposo.”
Sammie Okposo died last week after he slumped into his house. The news saddened everyone, and many of his colleagues and other prominent men in the ministry have posted memorial messages to him, appreciating his ministry while he was here on earth.
Following the tributes made to him, you can tell that he’s a good man.
Sammie Okposo trended some months back after he publicly apologized to his wife for cheating on her with a US-based woman when he was out of the country for a programme. Since then, he took a break from ministerial work as he went on rehabilitation.
