President Muhammdu Buhari has stated that the Nigerian economy must be prepared for life after oil.
The President made the remarks while receiving Mr Segun Awolowo, the immediate past Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, the president applauded Awolowo for using the NEPC to turn the fortunes of the Nigerian economy around, noting that he had “put our locally made products on the world map”.
