The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has stated that the command has established a conspiracy in the assassination of Super TV boss, Uwaifo Ataga.
Recall that Chidinma Ojukwu, the main suspect in the case, has since been apprehended by the command.
Odumosu however, denied claims that the command is attempting to sweep the case under the rug while parading criminal suspects arrested by the command on Wednesday, July 14.

“At first, Chidinma was the only suspect apprehended; however, we have now apprehended additional suspects. As a result, members of the public should be aware that the investigation into Chidinma’s case is ongoing.
“The suspects’ fundamental human rights are still protected by the constitution. The story that the police want to sweep the case under the rug is false.
Regardless of the propaganda, we will never wither, and we are not covering anyone because we have established a conspiracy in the case”, he said.
