Daniel Regha, a controversial Twitter user, has emphasised the influence of Nigerian artist Temilade Openiyi aka Tems on Wizkid’s music career, alleging she resurrected the singer’s career.
He said that the ‘Crazy Tings’ singer is a great stage performer when she performs Essence with Wiz, but she appears unimportant without the song.
Tem’s command of the stage, he claims, is what allowed Wizkid to revitalise his career every time they sing Essence.

Regha made the statements after Tems and the Grammy-winning vocalist reunited on stage after a two-year beef.
He added that she is a budding star with promising fame, but she needs to move up because she lacks a hit song.
Daniel wrote, “Tems only gets attention as a performer when she sings Essence. She’s a promising upcomer, & is also the main reason why Wizkid was able to revive his music career with the MIL album; But asides collabs, she literally has no hit song of her own. Hope she steps it up. No offense.”
