Hours after a fire at Victoria Island, Lagos killed an undetermined number of people and injured numerous others, another fire broke out in the famed Tejuosho market in Yaba, Lagos.
According to reports, the fire started today afternoon, November 1, 2022, inside a Military Barrack in Yaba, between the aforementioned market and the Yaba railway terminal.
Videos shared online showed part of the market’s businesses on fire, and it’s unclear whether fire personnel have arrived on the scene.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire was unknown.
