Top Afrobeats artist Davido has been called out by Nigerian Singer and Songwriter Dammy Krane, whose full name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, for allegedly owing money.
Davido allegedly failed to pay him for co-writing his 2017 smash single Pere, which featured American rappers Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug, according to the man.
Dammy Krane tagged OBO on Twitter and stated that he didn’t want to resort to publicly criticizing him but had no other option after receiving no answer to his private efforts.
Additionally, he posted an image of a 2017 tweet by Davido in which he mentioned Dammy as one of the songwriters.
Shoutout @dammy_krane !! Co-wrote the hook on PERE with me!!” the DMW boss tweeted at the time.
He then urged the Afrobeat star OBO to send him the money that he owes him for co-writing Pere.
