Somalia Government Executes 18: Somalia Government has executed 18 Al-Shabaab fighters in the regional authorities in the Galkayo town of Somalia.
According to a post by Orbitnews, the execution is said to be the largest since the trial of the Al-Shabaab militants.
However, Orbitnews reported that the militants were convicted for the assassination of elite community leaders over the years, elders, officers and Journalists.
Al-Shabaab is an Islamist militant group based in Somalia with ties to al-Qaeda.
