Some online users have pleaded with Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko to forgive her former adopted daughter Chineye Eucharia whom she ended ties for offending her.
The Netizens were reacting to a video where the actress said she meant well for the teenager but she ended up hurting her.
The actress and brand influencer said she has adopted the little daughter of her security man whom she said won’t give her issues.
Etiko stated in the video that despite all of the sacrifices she made for her former adopted daughter Chinenye to give her a good home, she offended her.
The actress also said that she purchased an iPhone 11pro max for her and as well paid her school fees and clothing, to ensure that she never felt deprived.
Destiny Etiko, on the other hand, saw that Chinenye repaid all of her sacrifices for her with ungratefulness, betrayal, and backbiting.
Reacting to Etiko’s claim some Netizens pleaded with her to forgive Chineye as she is just a little girl with little or no experience about life.
@Nneky’sbeauty Naija wrote: “She’s just a little girl Probably was carried away with celebrity life style that you gave her, you don’t have to blame her much She’s only but a newbies in the system, no matter what she did please don’t just push her back to street where she came from, nurture her as if you birth her nobody is above correction with time she will adjust and blend to the baby girl you want her to be, but in all let whatever you’re teaching her be in accordance with what Jesus teaches us that’s the most important”.
Another Netizen Ijeoma Blessing Ugochukwu said Chineye was never Etiko’s daughter if not she would not cut ties with her for offending her.
“This simply means she was never your child. If she were to be your daughter you’ll never throw her out and give birth to another one immediately. An adopted child should be treated and tolerated like a biological child. If not we would have all been thrown away at one point or the other in our lives, especially as teenagers or young adults. But move on if that’s your decision”.
