Recall that on November 8, Mane suffered an injury while playing for Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen. After only 20 minutes, he was removed.
Mane is expected to miss a few weeks due to a tendon issue, according to the source. Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of Bayern Munich, had initially stated that they were hopeful it wasn’t something severe.
In Group A, Senegal was scheduled to compete against the Netherlands, Ecuador, and the hosts. Senegal, Bayern Munich, or Sadio Mane himself have not yet issued statements.
