Some internet users who are not happy with the recent comment of Nollywood actor Uche Mmaduagwu over his colleague Rita Dominic’s wedding have replied him by saying that the actress is married to a married man and a divorcee as such it is not wrong for her to choose a divorcee Michelle Dede as her Chief Maid of Honour.
The controversial influencer made a post on his Instagram account where he called out the actress.
According to him he was jubilating and dancing when he heard that the actress will hold her church wedding in the United Kingdom because she is not just a senior colleague to him but someone he respects.
He further stated that he was filled with tears when he heard that she picked someone who has been previously married as her Chief maid of honuor.
According to him, it is spiritually wrong for her to do such, noting that many Nigerian pastors would kick against it.
“I was Jubilating and dancing when Dem tell me Aunty Rita Dey do Church wedding for UK, that was a beautiful news, she is not just a senior colleague, but someone I truly respect, but when I heard she allegedly chose person Wey Don face marriage Breakup as one of her Bridesmaids, tears begin JABO for my face, seriously? Is that not bad luck spiritually? So many #pastors in Naija will not allow this, in Fact, in some cultures, Na bad Omen. Let us be spiritually sensitive, wedding is spiritual, so we should be spiritually watchful”, Uche wrote.
Reacting to his post were his followers who do not align with his views as they called him out.
A user @cjoy32754 said the actress is married to a married man and a divorcee as such choosing a divorcee as a bride’s maid is not bad.
“But I thought Rita is married to a married man and a divorcee, so why would she not invite those who have marriage breakup”.
@susieretty wrote: “Na u be God? Hasn’t the husband been married before? You said u respect her. If u did u wouldn’t say such in public about someone u claim to respect. Heaven helps someone u don’t have respect for. Some pastors in Nigeria indeed? Did she get married in Nigeria?”.
