Veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo has described his final moments with Gospel musician Sammie Okposo, who passed away in the early hours of today, November 25, 2022, after slumping.
Actor Richard Mofe Damijo revealed that they spent two weeks together fellowshipping as Men as he shared a video showing their final moment together in the United States a month earlier.
They dined, drank, and made plans for the coming year, according to Richard Mofe Damijo.
“This was exactly a month ago in the US. We spent 2 weeks together and fellowshipped as men. Ate, drank, and teased.
“Toks would drive you to me and we would spend the entire day together. Made plans for the New Year”.
“Yet here I’m struggling and looking for words to capture our relationship. Sam Okpoooo as only I can call you, this was not the plan o”, he wrote.
Still lamenting on the rude shock and praying for the family that Sammie Okposo left behind, Richard Mofe Damijo wrote “My Prayers are with your family as you Rest in power, peace and praise.”
Sammie Okposo passed away on Friday morning after collapsing. At age 51.
Recall that Okposo gained publicity at the beginning of the year when he publicly apologized to his wife Ozioma for having an extramarital affair with a woman in the United States.
The singer expressed regret for the incident, which he noted occurred in 2021, in the apology that he posted on his Instagram page.
The singer added that the change has caused him to step down from his ministerial duties until he retraced his path again with God.
