Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has called on the Nigerian Government to release the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Rita Edochie stated that the only way to end the unrest in the South Eastern region of the country is to release Kanu.
The actress expressed that the leaders are playing with the lives of people, using other people’s children to cause unrest whilst theirs are abroad.
She said:
“Release Nnamdi Kanu and see the unrest of South East become a history. Stop playing with people’s lives especially you elites. That your children are overseas and you’re using other people’s children to create unrest. If you are one of them your generation and generation to come will never know peace.”
