The All Progressives Congress governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai`, has outlined the rationale for the governors’ decision to back Bola Tinubu as the party’s flag bearer.
El-Rufai clarified that Northern APC governors chose to back Tinubu in order to uphold Nigeria’s unity, justice, and fairness.
He revealed this in Kaduna at a town hall gathering with several Northern Christian organizations.
Nasir El-Rufai` claimed that Tinubu’s selection as governor of Lagos State was the result of the Northern governors’ preference for him.
According to El-Rufai: “In the spirit of unity, fairness and justice in the country, after President Buhari’s tenure, it is fair that the Presidency should go to the South.
“And we converged in Katsina Lodge before Governor Aminu Bello Masari said that among all the presidential candidates, we should go for Ahmed Tinubu because of his track records while he was governor of Lagos.”
It’s not a good idea to nominate a president at this time since, even if he is available, he is unlikely to be capable of managing Nigeria’s deteriorating situation. a person whose incomplete thinking reflect his declining health.
As president of Nigeria, Tinubu falls short of expectations. In order to confuse the Tinubu threat, the erroneous explanations are frequently presented. A distinct issue arises from his media handlers working together with some intellectuals. For the reasons they describe, their conviction in Tinubu—and in their ability to make their own decisions—is at best nauseating.
One of Tinubu’s biggest problems is his age. He has worse health problems. He is unable to communicate with the public in the best way due to whatever ailment he may have, however named. He makes others feel embarrassed.
