Police in Abuja has allegedly fired teargas canisters this morning to disperse June 12 protesters in the Gudu area of the Federal Capital Territory.
The protesters had gathered in the area around 8.30 a.m. this morning to protest what they called the Buhari-led government’s bad governance.
According to Punch, when security operatives stormed the area and fired teargas canisters, the protesters took to their heels and scampered for safety, chanting “Buhari must go,” “Say no to injustice,” and other solidarity phrases.
