Plateau Attack: Two mobile police officers could not hold back their tears as the bodies of the latest attack victims were displayed at the Plateau State Government House on Wednesday, August 25.
Over 30 people were killed when gunmen suspected of being Fulani militias attacked in the early hours of Wednesday.
Angry youths stormed the Plateau Specialist Hospital, where the victims’ bodies had been deposited, and evacuated them in a van.
The protesting youths later carried the bodies to the State House of Assembly, blocking all roads leading to the area.

Despite the Speaker of the House’s address, in which he pleaded for calm, the youths were dissatisfied with the response and marched to the Government House, where the victims’ corpses were displayed.
