The winner of the season seven edition of Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show Ijeoma Josephina Otabor aka Phyna has issued a public apology to Nigerian women following her statement that was widely criticised.
Recall that Phyna has been in the news after a clip of her interview with Chude saying every woman has done ab0√tion once or twice went viral, though the narrative started in 2022 when Punch Newspaper published a story that Phyna said she had done ab0√tion twice.
Phyna while trying to defend herself said she didn’t grant the Interview to Punch but they wrote the story from a conversation they had in the house where some housemates openly said the things they have done in the past.
The issue seemed to have been forgotten by the public until Phyna did a question and answer session with her followers on Instagram where someone asked if she thought about her comment before saying every woman has done ab0√tion.
Replying to the follower, Phyna said any woman who has taken contraceptive pills or measures has done ab0√on an answer that did not go well with many most especially her senior colleague Princess who said she should stop forcing the narrative on every woman.
Princess’s post triggered Phyna who replied to her post and this led to a 24-hour back and forth between the two ladies on X formerly known as Twitter.
Meanwhile, Phyna released a public statement apologising for her statement as she revealed her collaboration with a Non-Profit Organisation to sensitise young girls on the act.
