The Minority Leader in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau has decamped from the People’s Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All Progressive Congress APC.
Jatau, who represents Kokona West in the state legislature, registered with the APC at his polling unit in Uke-Bassa, Kokona Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Complaints, Petitions, and Protection joined the APC two days after leaving the PDP.
He urged his constituents to participate in the on-going APC membership verification and revalidation process.
Jatau said that he joined the APC to assist Governor Abdullahi Sule in developing the state.
“I have joined the APC to devote my part to the growth of the state and Nigeria as a whole.

“I would like to appeal to the people of my electorate who have yet to join the governing APC to do so in their own best interests and for the greater prosperity of the state.
“There are advantages to belonging to a political party, especially the ruling APC, and above all, we should support the governor’s success,” he said.
He promised his constituents that he would continue to have quality coverage in order to deliver growth to their doorsteps.
“I want to use this medium to remind the people of my constituency that I will continue to do my best for them by focusing on people-oriented programs that will positively impact their lives,” he said.
For societal growth, the lawmaker encouraged his constituents and Nigerians to continue to live in harmony, obey the constitution, and honour constituted authorities.
