“We just received a distress call this evening from one Ms Cindy (surname withheld) reporting that her Elder sister’s Husband, who also works as an Assistant Pastor in one of the Pentecostal churches in Asaba, Delta State, defiled her 19-month-old daughter. Ms Cindy stated that when she returned home from work, she noticed her 19-month-old daughter bleeding and informed her uncle that he had touched her bum bum. The little girl is still bleeding because Ms Cindy was unable to go to the hospital or the police station this evening due to the security situation in Asaba, Delta State. We advised her to go to the nearest police station tomorrow morning and obtain a medical form, which she will bring to the hospital. We’ll take it from there.”
