NSCDC arrest woman: The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has arrested one Ganiyat AbdulRaheem, 30, for allegedly stealing a bundle of clothes worth half a million naira.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Mr Babawale Afolabi on Wednesday in Ilorin.
According to Afolabi, the suspect committed the crime on July 15 at Ago Market in Ilorin.
“On July 18, our office received a theft report. It was forwarded to the command’s Intelligence and Investigation Unit for further action.
“Fortunately, the suspect was apprehended by the complainant and turned over to the corps’ patrol team, called Operation Harmony,” Afolabi added.

He also stated that a tricycle operator named Abdulahi Soliu, who is suspected of being an accomplice to the suspect, had been apprehended.
He said that both the suspect and her accomplice were questioned at the NSCDC headquarters in Ilorin.
He added that the investigation had been completed and that the suspects would appear before a Magistrate’s Court after the Eid-el-Kabir holiday.
