Nigerians and South Africans will feature in a special Big Brother Season and this has been confirmed and made official. Many viewers are anticipating for this show to get started soon as it will be massive.
The Big Brother reality show’s producers have confirmed that the upcoming season would be a special edition with the title “Big Brother Naija Plus SA,” with housemates from both South Africa and Nigeria.
John Ugbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Multichoice Nigeria, announced this at a gathering on Thursday in Lagos. The show would premiere in 2023, he added.
Ugbe said “This special big brother edition would have Nigerians and South Africans in one house, so just imagine Afrobeat and Amapiano in one house.”
“With housemates from South Africa and Nigeria, the unique Big Brother edition, will be even more competitive”, he added.
The latest announcement comes about one month before the season finale of the seventh season of the program, titled “Level Up.” The show has delighted viewers with surprising twists and turns as 13 roommates compete for this year’s N100 million grand prize.
Nigerians and South African housemates from the continent’s two powerhouses will live together in the upcoming season of Big Brother. The goal of this is to bring people together through a shared experience of entertainment, personality, and culture. Both in terms of cash and other sponsored awards, the prizes promise to be as substantial as the entire performance.
