Online media users have slammed wizkid over old Tweet of over 12 years of him begging Rapper M.I. surfaced online.
Amid the crisis of the rap genre and Wizkid‘s insults to his colleagues, angry Netizens has found an old tweet of the star boy, also known as Wizkid begging the famous Nigerian rapper, M.I., for a little attention.
This comes after the controversy about rap music being dumb and dead in the entertainment industry as claimed by Wizkid.
A screenshot from 2010, has however expose how Wizkid begged one of the most popular Nigerian artist for recongnition.
The Grammy award-winner and ‘essence crooner according the tweet stated that he was a biggest fan of rapper, M.I.
He stated in the tweet that he is an upcoming musician who would want to be recognised by the rapper.

On seeing the tweet some online users took to the comment section to express how they feel.
“That’s what life is all about. They’ll beg you when they’re down and puff up when they’re up,” a social media user wrote in reaction.
Another user added, “We all know back then when this tweet was tweeted the rap industry in Nigeria was epic but now it’s just there. But I still think wizkid should have said it in a nicer way.”
