Nasarawa Assembly pledges: The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Health says it will support the executive arm of government to enhance manpower development in the state’s health sector.
By this, the committee emphasized that all the tertiary health institutions in the state would be given all the needed support on manpower training and skills, to tackle the healthcare of the people.
Mr Usman Shafa, the Chairman of the Committee, stated this when the management of the College of Health, Science and Technology, Keffi, led by its Acting Provost, Alhaji Suleiman Mohammed, appeared before the committee for their 2021 budget assessments.
“We will continue to partner with the executive arm in order to boost manpower development in the health sector. We are poised to give all the needed support to the entire health establishments in the state.

” This is in the interest of the health of our people and for the overall development of the state,” he said
The chairman urged the management team of the college to remain consistent in improving the standard of education.
” I urge you to continue to maintain standard in the school, in the interest of the health sector and for the overall development of the state,” he added.
Responding, Mohammed appreciated the committee for supporting the activities of the institution and called for the support to be sustained.
He assured the management of continued readiness to improve the standard of education.
