Napoli Forward, Victor Osimhen, is eager to play again after a layoff due to injury.
Osimhen has been out since suffering an injury in Napoli’s match against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on September 7.
However, on Monday, the Nigerian international engaged in a customized workout at the team’s SSCN Konami Training Center (today).
“Following session aimed at ball possession and closing with a match on a reduced field. Osimhen and Politano did therapies and personalized training on the pitch,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The 23-year-old has missed Napoli’s last three games across all competitions as a result of the injury.
The striker has scored two goals in five appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season.
Victor James Osimhen, a striker for Serie A side Napoli and the Nigerian national team, was born in Nigeria on December 29, 1998.
Osimhen, a Nigerian-born player, started his senior career in Germany in 2017 with VfL Wolfsburg.
