Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr has revealed how her Muslim teacher prophesied that she will be signed into Marvin Records.
The ‘Stability and away’ crooner, during an interview, said that she attended a deeper life secondary school when she was younger.
She explained how the school was strict with their Christian rules and also how they told her she wouldn’t make it after “painting one of her fingernails pink.”
When asked if she was ever encouraged by any teacher, she gave a shout-out to her Muslim teacher who despite not being a Christian told her to join the church choir as he discovered her amazing voice.
Ayra Starr added saying that: “When I was just 13 or 14, he told me I would be signed by Marvins when I grow…I should just continue singing and posting it online.”
