Meghan, Britain’s Duchess of Sussex has given birth to her second child, a baby girl named after Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.
Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, with Harry present.
“On the 4th of June, we were blessed with the birth of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have hoped for, and we are grateful for the love and prayers we have received from all over the world,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement.
“We appreciate your continued kindness and support during this very special time in our family’s life.”
Their press secretary stated that both mother and child were doing well and had returned home.

The name ‘Lilibet’ was said to be created by Queen Elizabeth II at her tender age when she could not pronounce her name properly.
However, the late Queen’s husband Prince Philip was said to be the only one that called her the name until his death.
Recall that Archie, Megan and Harry’s first child, was born in 2019.
