Ahmed Saka, a resident in Ibadan has killed himself, ex-lover Mutiat Oladele and her two children by setting Oladele’s room on fire.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night, April 7 2021, in Shogoye, Idi-Arere, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Mutiat and Saka were said to have been lovers until the woman ended the relationship.
Saka reportedly threatened to kill himself and Mutiat if she did end their relationship, and went further to carry out the threat at midnight.
Meanwhile, the fire also injured three other children, who suffered varying degrees of injury.

The children are currently being treated at the Molete Anglican Diocese Hospital.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Olugbenga Fadeyi, has also confirmed the incident.
According to him, They were concubines; adding that the guy went to set his ex-lover’s house on fire because she said she was interested in the relationship any longer.
