In the football final of the revived National Principals Cup on Tuesday, Fosla Academy, representing the North Central region, will face Christ Comprehensive College, Kaduna (North West).
The three-day finals, which are being held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, will end on Tuesday March 30 2021.
On Monday, Fosla beat Owerri City College of Imo State (South-East) 1-0 in the first semi-final at the stadium’s practice pitch.
Christ Comprehensive College, Kaduna, on the other hand, advanced to the final after defeating Orile Comprehensive School, Abeokuta (South-West) 3-1.
The two teams will meet in the final on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium’s practice pitch in Abuja as part of the competition’s closing activities.
Also on Sunday, Fosla Academy defeated Abdulkadir Benisheikh of Borno (North East) to advance to the final.

Fosla coach Gilbert Igwe congratulated his players for reaching the finals, but emphasized the importance of going all out to win the game.
“We’ve come a long way, and the boys’ achievement of reaching this point of the competition is remarkable.
“However, the work is just halfway completed it is not yet time for celebrations, he said.
The National Principals’ Cup in 2021 began with a state preliminary and progressed through zonal playoffs to the national final.
Aside from football, the Abuja finals will feature 24 table tennis players and 144 athletes from six zones competing for medals.
