The shineyaeye housemates are impressively opening up about their personal mental struggles in the aftermath of Kayvee’s premature exit from the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season.
Liquorose, the new head of house, is the most recent to share her story. In a chat with her fellow housemates, the professional dancer revealed that she battled depression for four months before being approved to participate in the new season.
Liquorose said she became depressed after someone told her during an audition that dance was not for her.
“I was depressed for four months before Big Brother,” Liquorose shared. “I went for an audition and someone said to me ‘Rose, dance is not meant for you then I stopped going for auditions and was depressed for four months before Big Brother.”
