According to Guillem Balague, `Lionel Messi’ and Paris Saint Germain have a tentative agreement to extend his contract. Since Messi’s current amazing Paris Saint Germain contract is slated to expire next summer, rumors of a possible move back to Barcelona have recently surfaced.
Argentina’s World Cup-winning captain is rumored to be planning to spend another year in Paris, despite Barca President Joan Laporta’s public declarations to the contrary.

Laporta said on Barca TV, “On Messi, we can’t create expectations.” Messi has a deal with PSG and plays for them.
‘He has won the World Cup and the Culés have been very happy. What I don’t want to do is generate expectations that at the moment are very difficult.
‘For us he is the best player of all time, we have had him here and I am convinced that in his heart he is a Culé and will always be linked to Barca.
