Leicester City on Saturday, May 15, won their English FA Cup after defeating Chelsea 1-0 at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Youri Tielemans scored the winning goal which helped Leicester City win the FA Cup for the first time in its 137-year history.
It was Leicester City’s first FA Cup trophy after four previous losses, the most recent of which occurred 52 years ago in 1969.
It was also their second major title, following a sensational Premier League triumph in 2016.

They’ve also won three League Cups.
Tielemans fired into the top left corner from 25 meters out in the 63rd minute, in front of the 21,000 fans who were allowed into the famous arena because of coronavirus restrictions in England.
However, victory was not theirs until an 89th-minute equalizer from Chelsea was ruled out by VAR due to Ben Chilwell being deemed offside by the smallest of margins in the build-up.
Captain Kasper Schmeichel also made crucial saves for manager Brendan Rodgers’ team late in the game before receiving the trophy from Britain’s Prince William, the FA president.
“I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am. What an eventful day. It’s indescribable. It’s the stuff that dreams are made of. “I’ve wanted to do this since I was a kid”.
“We’ve talked about wanting to win trophies, and today’s performance with grit and determination was impressive. I am extremely proud of everyone,” Schmeichel said.
Chelsea was not as strong as they had been in recent weeks under new manager Thomas Tuchel, who had won the German Cup with Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
He also won the French Cup with Paris Saint-Germain last year (PSG).
The Blues defeated Premier League champions Manchester City in the semi-finals but fell short of winning their ninth FA Cup in their 15th final.
