Kano Pillars, a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, has signed eight new players for the second phase of the 2020/2021 league season, according to a statement issued by the club’s Media Officer on Saturday, April 8 in Kano.
Idris Malikawa identified the newly signed players as Ahmed Musa, Sabastine Uche Great, Eze Ifeanyi Kelvin Great from Akwa United FC, and Adamu Salihu from Ijayapi rocks in Abuja.
Others included Kokoette Ibiok Udo from Dakkada FC, Lobi Stars’ Ezekiel Tamaraebifha, Egbo Godwin Monday unattached, and Joseph Yinka Bah from Limbe FC of Cameroon.

He stated that, in addition to adding quality to the team, the new additions were expected to provide the squad with the necessary steel to achieve its goal of winning the league.
Malikawa also stated that three of the newly signed players, Ezekiel Tamaraebifha, Sabastine Great, and Eze Kelvin, were among the twenty-man squad that travelled to Warri for the team’s matchday 20 battle against Warri Wolves on Sunday.
However, Pillars, which are in second place in the league table, have 36 points from 19 games.
