Isa Pantami, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy stated that President Muhammadu Buhari was unable to eat after learning that Muslim tourists had been killed in Jos, Plateau state’s capital.
According to the Daily Nigerian, the minister made the revelation during a special visit to the Islamic cleric to express the president’s condolences.
Recall that approximately 25 Muslim travellers were killed in Rukuba, Jos on their way back from a religious assembly organized by Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi in Bauchi State.

Pantami told the cleric that President Buhari was so distressed by the killings that he was unable to eat. He stated;
“The president had since directed that the perpetrators of the attack be fished out and prosecuted.
“He spoke with top military brass on the issue. He had just returned from a journey, and as matter of fact the president could not even eat food.”
