Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in the upcoming 2023 elections, has stated that his only motivation for running is to provide young people in Nigeria a brighter future.
He added that because the youth are the future, his administration will be extremely youth-inclusive.
During a meeting with content producers, business owners, social media influencers, and many other individuals working with the @youthpoliticsng coalition to positively impact society, the former vice president made the vow on Friday.
The coalition met with Atiku Abubakar to proclaim their willingness to participate actively in the national political process. It claimed that its members and Nigerian youths wanted to work together with his political party to steer Nigeria in a new and better direction.
This was stated in a video post made by Mr. Eta Uso, Atiku’s special assistant for operations and digital media.
In the video, the Wazirin Adamawa informed the youths that he is running for president not for personal gain but rather to make sure that Nigerians, particularly the youth, benefit from democracy’s benefits and that inclusion in governance is maintained.
Atiku said, “It is your tomorrow.” He said the youths must come out to protect it.
“I have lived my life; What I am doing now, I am doing it for you.” He said he I in the presidential race to struggle to better the lives of Nigerians, especially the youths.
