Igboho supporters stage protest: Supporters of Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, staged a protest today in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, demanding his release from the custody of Benin Republic police.
The protesters, mostly young people, demanded that Igboho be released and not extradited to face trial by the Federal Government, as some media outlets reported.

According to one of the protesters:
“The federal government should release Igboho for us because he is fighting for the rights of his people. The federal government should also go and arrest the killer herdsmen who are killing and maiming innocent people across the country.”
