Sophia Momodu Apologises For The Post She Made on Daughters Page to Celebrate her Dad which generated a lot of reactions.
The first baby mama of Famous Nigerian singer Sophia Momodu has apologised over the post she made on her daughter’s Instagram handle to celebrate her father’s 30th birthday.
Davido who turned 30 a few days back received messages from his fans, friends and family across the globe which his first daughter Imade Adeleke was not left out.
Unfortunately, her birthday post to her father which was shared on her page by her mother did not go well with Netizens who dragged her for what they tagged as being insensitive.
Sophia shared a photo of Davido together with his three children with a happy birthday caption.
On seeing this, Netizens dragged her for not making a birthday for the singer’s late son on his birthday or when he passed on, but would use his picture to wish Davido a happy birthday.
Reacting to people’s reaction to the post she wrote: ” I realised that the earlier post may come across as insensitive and I sincerely apologise as that was not the intention”.
“Imade deeply loves her father and all her siblings, and as a mother, I’m doing my best to guide her through the difficult emotion of grief from the loss of her brother whilst trying to celebrate her father’s birthday”.
” I ask for your consideration and hope that you all can be understanding during these times, thank you”, she wrote.
