Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant Angel Smith bravely has discussed her battle with depression and a nearly fatal suicide attempt in March this year.
Angel disclosed this while she had a private conversation with her love interest, Soma, following the completion of a Tuesday task.
Angel, who is known for her matured personality and captivating presence in the All Stars season, disclosed the terrible truths about her mental health struggle after gracing the show in 2021.
She explained how the demands of fame had destroyed her self-confidence and pushed her to the brink.
“I numbed myself out after my suicide attempt in March because it got so chaotic. Fame divided me into pieces and left those pieces on the floor for me to pick up. It broke me.
“Every time I get into an argument in this house, I say to myself, do I even want to be here? I remember how I got here. No one in this house knows this. I have suffered”, she said.
