Evelyn Joshua the wife of Temitope Balogun, also known as T.B. Joshua, has revealed the incident that led to his death.
On Sunday, June 6, she told a small group of journalists that her husband, the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), “ended his race prayerfully.”
She revealed that the televangelist spent about three hours in prayer on the mountain before the last service and that he appeared to be in good health.
“He never showed any signs of illness or worry, she said, and his main concern was the prayer line they provided to Indians in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Afterward, he came up to shower, and I left him to have some time to prepare for service as worship had begun,” she explained.

“He stepped out for ministration a few minutes later.” He mentioned a time to come and a time to go while ministering. His statements were spiritual, and he suddenly left the stage to go to his inner chambers.
“I waited a few minutes before going to check on him.” I found him sitting on the chair, unconscious as if reflecting. I quickly summoned his disciples, who arrived and unsuccessfully attempted to resuscitate him. “Truly, he went home to be with the Lord, leaving us with a message to watch and pray,” she narrated.
