In order to get Chioma to appear in the music video for his song, Assurance, singer David Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name Davido, has admitted that he lied to Chioma.
The musician said he lied to Chioma when discussing how their relationship began in an interview with Ebuka on the Black Box series.
He claimed that they were introduced by his friend Lati and that they have known for about seven years.
When the two of them first met, according to the DMWboss, they were both still enrolled at Babcock University.
She initially declined to be in the Assurance video, according to Davido, but after pleading with her and lying that it was crucial and necessary, she accepted.
He claimed that despite the fact that Chioma frequently receives hate messages for being in a relationship with him, she handled the celebrity lifestyle so well despite never wanting it.
He added that even if Chioma did not give birth to his first daughter Imade, he can leave her with Chioma and be confident that nothing would go wrong. This is one of the main reasons he believes she is the one.
Recall that Davido and Chioma after the birth of their son David Ifeanyi Adeleke went their separate ways over an undisclosed issue.
The two love birds seem to have settled their differences are they are always seen in public events unlike before.
Davido has stated that they would be getting married in 2023 after he introduced her to Nigerian UK-based celebrity pastor Tobi.
Meanwhile, Davido’s first baby mama Sophia Momodu who seems not to be happy with the recent development has since unfollowed the singer on Instagram while he returned the gesture to her.
Davido’s fourth baby mama who is based in the UK has also cried over what she tagged neglect from the singer.
