Ex-BBNaija’s ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Housemate, Maria Chike, has disclosed that she fell into depression following the death of her father 10 years ago.
The reality TV star disclosed this in an interview with Chude Chideonwo, a media personality, where she stated that she and her dad were best of friends.
Maria further added that she was left in denial after her father’s death and she didn’t believe she could survive without his presence.
BBNaija’s Maria said, “My dad died in 2013, he was like my best friend; I was very close to him. He literally dragged me and said, you aren’t going anywhere.
“So, when he passed away, I was like, ‘what am I going to do with life?’ I didn’t accept it until months after he was buried, I was in denial. I fell into depression”.
