Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi, a self-confessed internet fraudster, is scheduled to be sentenced in October 2021, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
Recall that Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai in July 2020 for a multi-million dollar fraud he committed together with some members of his syndicate. This week, he pleaded guilty to a variety of charges, including internet fraud and money laundering.

Hushpuppi, his lawyer, Loius Shapiro, and Acting United States Attorney Tracy Wilkison, among others, signed his plea bargain document, which was made public this week.
