Ondo State police command has paraded one Emmanuel Akpan, a houseboy and his accomplice, Goodness Ekpe, on Thursday, April 22, 2021, for the murder of his madam, Mrs Febsiola Caroline Adebayo.
The Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, Mr Bolaji Salami disclosed this when arraigning the suspects and 25 others in front of reporters in Akure.
According to the CP, on March 29, 2021, about 2300hrs at Ifokanbale Street, Ondo city, Emmanuel Akpan, a house boy, killed his madam, late Mrs Febisola Caroline Adedayo, a food canteen operator, with a machete while the woman was sleeping.
The CP said, the houseboy learned from one Goodness Ekpe, his town boy who also works in Ondo town, that the late Adebayo had a lot of money, which is why he committed the heinous crime.

“Akpan stole N3, 500, two tablets, some jewelleries, and a generator from the house before fleeing,” he said.
The police commissioner noted that Apkan and Ekpe were apprehended in a village in Ogun State, stating that an investigation was underway and that the two suspects would be charged in court as a result of the findings.
“Last month, we paraded several offenders implicated in different types of offences, some of whom are now cooling their heels in various correctional facilities throughout the state.
“Though advertising our exploits has never been my form of policing, it often becomes necessary to do so in the expectation that criminals would refrain from committing crimes.
“During the time of investigation, my officers and men retained a strong sense of professional integrity, which resulted in arrests and parades of suspects,” he added.
