The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has joined millions of Nigerians across the globe to celebrate Hilda Baci a 27-year-old lady from Akwa Ibom State who has broken the World Record of longest cooking time by an individual with Nigerian Food.
Buhari in a messages shared on his official Twitter handle said Hilda’s drive, ambition and resilience have brought great interest and insight into the uniqueness of Nigerian food.
He further said that he believe this feat will inspire many more young people, in Nigeria and beyond, to follow in her footsteps.
“I share the immense joy of all Nigerians as Hilda Bassey Effiong (Hilda Baci) makes history by breaking the world record for longest cooking marathon. A great day for Nigeria. We’re all very proud of what she has personally accomplished—and placing Nigeria in the global spotlight”

Reacting the President’s tweet a user @LawrenceOkoroJP wrote: “Bubu we celebrate you for not calling her yesterday, she would be passed out from excitement and the show would have been over. Going forward keep the same energy, don’t call any Nigerian until they complete the task at hand”.
