The member representing Toto/Gadabuke Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Labaran Shafa, says Gov. Abdullahi Sule has donated four transformers to communities in his constituency.
This, he said, the gesture would boost socio-economic activities and lives of his constituents and environs.
The lawmaker disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Lafia on Wednesday
“Two 500KVA transformers were installed in Toto, the headquarters of Toto Local Government Area.
“And one 500KVA at Gwargwada town with another 200KVA in one of the satellite villages in my constituency.
“My people will now have a side of relief and have every course to smile as the gesture will improve on their standard of living,” he said
Shafa, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Health, said the State Government has also mobilised engineers to the site to commence rural electrification at Karmo, Tudu-uku and Lokogoma of the constituency.
He emphasised that the benefiting communities would soon enjoy electricity supply.
The chairman however urged the benefitting communities to guard the projects for the overall development of the area.
The legislator commended the governor for the intervention and the approval he gave for the immediate commencement of rural electrification at Karmo, Tudu-uku, Lokogoma, Nakuse, and Gwargwada where engineers handling the work have been mobilised.
Besides, he assured the people of his constituency of continuous effective and quality representation at the state legislature
He urged his constituents and people of the state at large to support Sule to succeed beyond 2023 in order to enjoy more democratic dividends.
The chairman also urged his constituents and other Nigerians to be law-abiding, respect constituted authorities, and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
