Bamalli said the emirate always preached to people during festive periods like this to be law-abiding, obey the laws of the land, and be security-aware, stressing that this is a trying time.
“Some miscreants take advantage of the time to carry out their nefarious activities; we always encourage people to be more alert, watchful, and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
“Normally, people should follow all COVID-19 mitigation procedures during a holiday season like this.”
Easter, according to the Emir, is a season in which Christians around the world celebrate Jesus Christ’s death and resurrections, as well as a season of devotion, sacrifice, and prayers.
While wishing Christians a happy Easter, Bamalli urged people to use the occasion to pray for the country’s growth.
