First things first, let’s speak a little about your anatomy and the differences between your urethra, where urine exits, and your vaginal canal, where sperm enters (if you want to understand more about your body, grab a mirror and have a look at this helpful diagram from Planned Parenthood):
Your cervix is reached through your vaginal canal, which is then followed by your uterus and fallopian tubes. This is how sperm travel to the eggs that your ovaries release after ovulation.
Urine leaves your body through your urethra, a completely different (and somewhat smaller) orifice situated between the vaginal entrance and the clitoris.
Since the urethral aperture and vaginal canal are separate, sperm that has been left in the vagina after ejaculation won’t be “pushed” out by passing urine.
